Day trip to Milan
Monday night returning from Cinque Terre was spent for free back in the Villa Maderni and today my same group of 11 decided to go to Milan. We were able to get on a train route that was less direct but didn’t have any annoying reservation fees (we were all still baffled at the fact that we paid 1300 dollars or so for our Eurorail pass and have already had to pay heavily for 2 train...

First trip outside of Switzerland: Cinque Terre

The entire hike took about 5 hours, including the trip to the top and back down, as well as our 1...

Trip to Bellinzona
A large group of us went to Bellinzona, Switzerland today to experience the town culture (especially the street market around noon) and see three 1200-1400 AD castles. We were able to tour two of them inside and out and the weather and view could not have been better!
